In & Out's Signature Series Outdoor Cabinetry was the culmination of  years of prototypes and schematics. But where did the idea come from in the first place? It all started in 1994 when “outdoor cabinetry” was the spark for a much larger idea. That’s when Brian Bevan, President of In & Out, thought about the prospect of making a unique outdoor cabinet line. In 1998, Terri Norwood, a custom cabinetry maker of 17 years sought a solution for making outdoor kitchen cabinetry that would be low-maintenance and look good after years of  use. Bevan, whose background includes product innovations for the marine industry, decided to go for it and partnered with Norwood to bring such a product line to life.

So what was once merely a pipedream—now, years after the concept went from the drawing board to the factory, is a sure-fire industry-wide hit.

Manufactured from low-maintenance cabinet grade all element polymer board—In & Out’s line incorporates European design styling and a lifetime guarantee (the product withstands the wear and tear of inclement weather and is easy to keep clean—just hose it off). It’s a winner on all fronts. “The success lies behind a number of factors—the material, the construction and all of the components. “By the time the industry took notice, we knew we had accomplished our goal,” says Bevan.

In & Out first exhibited at a formal trade show (International Builder’s Show) in 2002. Since then, other significant industry trade shows have included K/BIS (Kitchen and Bath Industry Show), among others.

Today, In & Out Cabinetry's Signature Series is available in standard cabinet sizes in 3-inch increments and is now available in 9 color choices with 6 standard door styles. Custom accessories, moldings and countertops under 8-feet can be special ordered.

Innovative and fashion-forward, In & Out offers five new designer colors in its Outdoor Kitchen Series. New colors include: Sugar Sand, Camel, Nutmeg, Pewter and Moss Green. In standard/custom cabinet sizes (six standard door styles).
